One killed in tusker attack in Jhapa

DAMAK (Jhapa), June 2: One person was killed when a wild elephant attacked him at Haldibari in the district Thursday night. 

According to Thalthale Police Post, a local Rathi Meche of Haldibari Rural Municipality-4 was killed by the tusker when he was collecting mushroom at local Chaukibiram Community Forest. 

The dead body of Meche was found by the locals who then reported to the police this morning. RSS
