Six held for involvement in various offences

RATNANAGAR (CHITWAN): Six persons involved in various offences were arrested from different locations in Chitwan in the past couple of days. 

Police arrested two accused of assaulting a youth with sharp weapons and four for attacking a police constable after getting intoxicated with marijuana.

Raj Kumar Gurung, 27 and Suresh Silwal, 28 of Bharatpur – 1 were arrested in accusation of attacking Bijaya Bhujel, 28, of Narayangadh on May 26. Bhujel is receiving treatment in Bharatpur. His condition is reported to be critical. 

The police also arrested Bishwo Jeet Rana, Niraj Dahal, Shakti Mohan Gurung and Milan Shahi of Bharatpur – 19, who were on the run after throwing stones and injuring police constable, Aakash Paswan, within the premises of Makaibali Investigation Centre in Rampur.

They were arrested on Sunday.
