In a joint press release issued by the two unions, Bishwas Karki, district chairman of ANNISU-R and Krishna Kumar Thokar, district vice- chairman of NSU, warned of physical action to those school officials who charge more than Rs 500 for the certificate.[break]
ANNISU-R and NSU demanded to nullify an earlier agreement between District Education Office and UML-affiliated All Nepal National Free Student Union to charge in between Rs 500 and Rs 2,000 for the certificate.
Students have been complaining that most of schools are charging them anywhere between Rs 500 and Rs 5,000 for the certificate.
