CHITWAN, Sept 26: As many as 201 people have been detected with Scrub Typhus during the past two months. 

According to District Public Health Office, Chitwan, 201 people were tested positive for Scrub Typhus among 817 suspicious patients examined. 

District Public Health Office Chitwan's Kit Controller Ram KC shared that out of 201 cases detected during 16 July to 24 September. 64 were found in Bharatpur Hospital, Ratnanagar (9), Chitwan Medical College (51), Narayani Samudayik Hospital (61), Nirnaya Diagnostic (13), Manakamana Hospital (2) and Centre Hospital (1). 

Two people have lost their lives during the period. 

According to KC, some 11 people were found with Dengue infection among 487 examined. Likewise, 394 were tested positive for Influenza HiNi.(RSS)
