PYUTHAN, July 16: Police have arrested two youths on the charge of slaying 59-year-old Chatra Bahadur Sen in Bhajkateri 9 of Gulmi district.
According to DSP Ranjit Singh Rathor, police arrested Lekhnath Giri, 22, and Dipak Giri , 20, of Arkha-9, Pyuthan based on the information they received.
Police suspect that the duo could have stabbed Sen to death after the victim allowed them to stay overnight in his house.
According to DSP, they were arrested during a security check in Okharkot.
One of the suspects Dipal Giri admitted that he was involved in the murder.
Of the two suspects, Lekhnath Giri was taken to District Police Office, Gulmi for further investigation while Dipak Giri has been sent to Butwal for the treatment of his hand injuries.
Police have recovered ornaments and mobile sets looted from Sen’s house from a jeep where they were hidden.
Suspects have confessed to have committed a murder of Sen.
