KHOTANG, April 12: Two people were killed in a bus-motorcycle collision at Piple in Roshi Rural Municipality in the district on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Min Bahadur Paudel of Tarkerabari-3, and Madan Budhathoki, 24, of Tarkerabari-8, of Okhaldhunga.
The accident took place when a passenger bus, Ba 4 Kha 603, heading to Kathmandu with passengers from Diktel collided head-on with a motorbike, Ba 45 Pa 6753, coming from the opposite direction.
Budhathoki died on the spot while Paduel breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Dhulikhel hospital, Police Inspector of Area Police Office, Mangaltar told Republica Online.
