2 killed, 8 injured in road accident

BAGLUNG, July 6: Two persons were killed while other eight were injured in a road accident at Resh of Kathekhola Rural Municipality-7 of the district this morning. 

The accident took place when a jeep (Dha 1 Ja 188) heading to Baglung headquarters from Resh fell from the road at Jiredi, police said. 

According to police, the cause behind the accident was slippery condition of the road. 

The deceased in the accident are Lal Bahadur Thapa-25 and eight-year old Deepak Karki of Kathekhola Rural Municipality-7, police added. 

Similarly, the injured are undergoing treatment in local hospitals. RSS
