BARDIYA, Oct 27: Two persons were killed while next one injured when a truck and motorbike collided at Bangain of Dhadhawar VDC-6 in the district on Thursday morning.
Arjun Tharu, 21 of Dhadhawar VDC-3 and Yubraj Tharu, 21 of Kohalpur Municipality-11, who were on the bike, were identified as the deceased. They died on the spot. Similarly, Sanjay Tharu, 23, of Dhadhawar-3 who was also on the same bike injured in the accident.
When will it end?
Sanjay, who sustained serious injuries, was undergoing treatment at Kohalpur Medical College, police said.
"The incident occurred when the truck (Na 6 Kha 6267) coming from Dhangadhi to Nepalgunj collided with the bike (Ra 1 Pa7833) coming from the opposite direction," said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Netra Mani Giri.
Police have arrested truck driver and impounded the vehicle. RSS
