KATHMANDU, Sept 13: Two people were injured after a lingo (a wooden poll) collapsed at Basantapur in the capital on Monday morning.

A local and Nepal Army personnel were among those injured, according to an eyewitness. According to the organizer, efforts are being made to put up the lingo again after our first attempt failed.

Indra Jatra is one of the main festivals celebrated in Kathmandu valley. Jatra is celebrated on September 15 with much gusto. I

t is celebrated for a week in different places of Kathmandu Valley. During the festival, people will perform Lakhe Dance, Tana Dance and Phulu Dance.

From Tuesday premises of the Hanuman Dhoka will be kept open to the public for the observation of the statue of Aakash Bhairab.
