RAUTAHAT, July 28: Police have arrested two people with one kilogram of gold from Bam Nahar area in the district.
The gold was seized from TATA Sumo while it was heading for Gaur from Chandrapur during a security check.
The arrested are Saroj Yadav of Gaur Municipality-7 and Dina Nath Gupta of Gaur Municipality-5 were held at while they travelling by Inida TATA Sumo BR 05CA 0912.
The preparation is underway to send the seized gold to Central Zonal Revenue Office, said SP Yagya Binod Pokharel.
