KATHMANDU, June 25: The Covid-19 recovery tally in Nepal has reached 2,650 with the recovery of 312 patients in the past 24 hours.
According to Dr Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 312 patients of Covid-19 were discharged from various hospitals across the nation after successful recovery. Of the 312 newly recovered, 19 are females and 293 are males.
Eighty patients of Covid-19 from Gauri Shankar College, Rautahat, 69 from Alpine Nursing Hospital, Sarlahi, 33 from Provincial Hospital Surkhet, 46 from Sapahi Isolation Center, Dhanusha and 13 from Sai Kisna Isolation Center, Saptari were discharged after recovery.

Similarly, 21 patients of Covid-19 from Jaleswar Hospital, Mahottari, seven from Dullu Hospital, Dullu, eight from the Isolation Center Khajura, Banke, 11 from the Isolation Center Rapti Sonari, Banke, six each from the Isolation Center Pipari, Kohalpur and Lions Dental Isolation Center, Banke, four from Provincial Hospital Janakpur, three from the Isolation Center Bankatuwa, Banke, two from Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj and one from Covid-19 Unified Command Hospital, Balambu were also discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours.
With this, the national Covid-19 recovery tally has reached 2,650 including 216 females and 2,434 males.
The health ministry has also reported 434 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours through 6,543 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests and 4,167 Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDT) conducted at 22 different laboratories.
As of Thursday, 74,022 people are staying in various quarantine facilities and 8,486 patients of Covid-19 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers across the nation.
