2.6 million child workers below 14 years in Nepal

KATHAMANDU, July 10
: The lot of children affected by various nature of child workers could not be improved though the numbers of organizations working for child´s rights, have been increasing every day in the country.



The number of child laborers have been increased daily who are misbehaved on various ways like domestic violence, trafficking for flesh trade, child prostitution, child labor, various forms of exploitation and torture.



According to the Child Workers in Nepal Concerned Center (CWIN), some 6,264 children were affected by such incident last year only.



CWIN chairman Madhav Pradhan said around 2.6* million children below 14 years, have been working on various sectors as child laborers in various sectors like plastic collecting, domestic works, transportation, brick kiln, flesh trade, garbage industries, along others in the country.
