KATHMANDU, June 11: The first ever East Tourism Mart, 2018 concluded successfully in Dharan on Sunday. The Mart was organized by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) in association with Dharan Sub-Metropolitan city and local organizations as well as the private sector.
The mart was held at Ex-British Army Building, Dharan, from June 7-10, 2018, according to a statement issued by NTB. “The major objectives of the event were to introduce tourist attractions of Province 1,” NTB said in the statement, adding that tour operators and media representatives from Bihar and West Bengal states from Indian as well as Bhutan and Bangladesh participated in the event. There were altogether 50 buyers in the event. “More than 100 meetings were held between international buyers and local sellers during the event,” NTB added in the statement.
