Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) is back with its monthly photo exhibition held to promote local tourism in Nepal and, for the month of May, they have something quite different and interesting in store. “This time we are going through Nepal through the eyes of Thai photographers,” said Sunil Sharma, director of NTB.
Works of five Thai photographers were shortlisted out of which the final photos were selected for the exhibition to be held from May 5-7 at the NTB premises. The photos show how foreigners view Nepal and thus shed a different light on the nation. From glorious peaks to lifestyle in different places across the country, the photographers have, to a large extent, captured the essence of Nepal in each snapshot.
The Nepal Himalaya has always been the ultimate goal for most mountain lovers. Some of the Himalaya’s most iconic and accessible hiking is on offer here, with rugged trails to Everest, the Annapurna and beyond. As most trekking areas escaped with only minor damage in the 2015 earthquake, you can explore Nepal on foot anytime you want. You just need some determination and inspiration. For the latter, this sneak peak of the to-be exhibited photos might help.
