KATHMANDU, May 3: The Election Commission is to publish the final name list of the candidates of the first round of local level election in province number 3,4 and 6 on May 5, Friday. The first round local level election is taking place on May 14. 

The Commission also stated that it will allocate the election symbols to the candidates also on May 5. 

Similarly, the Commission will publish the names of the nominated candidates at 1 pm tomorrow. It has also set the deadline of 5 pm tomorrow for the candidates wanting to withdraw their names from the list. 

The Election Commission had set the time from 10 am to 1 pm today to file complaints against the candidates if any. 

Registration of candidacies for 283 local level positions in 34 districts of the three provinces was carried out on Tuesday. RSS
