KATHMANDU, April 7: The Nepal Telecom (NTC) has urged its customers not to receive calls that feel suspicious.
The NTC urged the customers after they complained of receiving calls from various suspicious country codes, setting off an alarm.
GSM mobile phone users have been asked to block the calls if they are from suspicious international country codes starting +21698…. +6745… +212… etc.
Prepaid and post-paid mobile users had received suspicious calls on Wednesday night. The NTC has told its customers to block such numbers after reports that they lost their balance when they called back.
