RATNANAGAR, April 2: As May 14 local level elections are fast approaching, preparations in Chitwan are in full swing.

The total 376 polling stations in 161 polling places have been set in the district for the elections, said the district election officer Hari Dhakal, adding that polling stations will be added in a place with more than 1000 voters with its categorization into groups (A, B, C, D, E) as per the calculation.
"Maximum of five polling stations has been established in a single election centre," he said.
The Election Commission is also working on revising electoral voter list by removing repeated and matched names of voters.
