MPCD arrests six gold looters including one policeman

KATHMANDU, April 1:  Metropolitan Police Crime Division(MPCD)  have arrested six persons including one policeman identified as Ajaya Gurung on the charge of looting 64 tola gold from the place where golden ornaments are made on Sunday from Kathmandu.

Two police personnel involved in the looting are still hiding themselves to avoid being apprehended. They have been identified as Police Head Constable Bal Bahadur Thapa Magar and policeman Nabin Dhakal.

Six armed persons had looted 64 tola gold from golden ornament factory located at Maruhiti on Friday night, said one MPCD staff.
