Man held on rape charge

SOLUKHUMBU, March 21: Police have arrested a man on the charge of raping a woman in the district.

The arrested has been identified as 37-year-old Dawa Sherpa.

Sherpa allegedly raped a married woman, 25, while she was working in the field.

The victim has accused Sherpa of raping her after luring her to his house for tea.
