DHADING, March 22: Police confiscated 164 kilograms of hashish while undertaking security screening along the Prithvi Highway.

Nawaraj Dhungel, Inspector of Area Police Office, Gajuri, informed the huge cache of contraband was seized this morning while being taken to India in a truck (UP19T5171) bearing Indian number plate.
Police seized eight sacks of hashish being hided in the cabin of the truck. Mau Mahatap, 25, a local of Utter Pradesh, India was arrested from Gajuri rural municipality-1 along with hashish.
Further investigation in to the incident is underway, police said. RSS
