KATHMANDU, July 7: A clinic has been sealed by a market monitoring team on the charge of black marketeering of medicines.
A team led by monitoring official of Department of Supply Management and Consumer Welfare sealed the Balaju-based Balaju Health Clinic on Thursday.
“The clinic was found charging twofold for a medicine that costs Rs 17. Necessary process for the action has been started after sealing the clinic,” said Director of Department of Supply Management, Laxman Shrestha.
If found guilty, the operator will be charged under the Black Marketeering Act. During the monitoring, it was found that the clinic was not operated by the concerned person.
