UDMF calls emergency meeting following cadre's death

KATHMANDU, March 6: The United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has called an emergency meeting following the death of its cadre on Monday.

The meeting is taking place at the central party headquarters of the Federal Socialist Forum Nepal in Tinkune.

According to General Secretary of the Sadbhawana Party Manish Suman, the meeting will discuss the death of the UDMF cadre killed in the clash with police in Saptari.

The meeting will also decide what kinds of steps the UDMF will take ahead in the context of the youth's death.

The UDMF has also called on all the UDMF leaders in Kathmandu to be present in the meeting. 

A UDMF cadre was killed while 14 others were injured during a clash with police that erupted after the former attacked the UML’s mass gathering with petrol-filled bottles in Saptari district.
