Nepali Embassy in UAE holds talks to promote Nepali products

UNITED ARAB EMITRATES, Feb 24: Nepali Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has held an interaction program in a bid to promote Nepali products in the Gulf countries.

The participants in the interaction concluded that the Nepali products identified by Nepal Trade Integrated Strategy (NTIS), 2016 could be traded in the UAE.

Cardamom, ginger, tea, medicinal herbs, carpet, shoes, Nepali Dhaka, cotton thread and sweet-smelling plants could hold a market in the Gulf region.

Similarly, cereal, honey, noodles, Nepali Dhaka, herbal, cooking oil, mineral water could be sold in the UAE.

 The UAE has been providing opportunity galore for employment and well as doing business.

The environment in the UAE for employment and trade has become more favorable after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal went on a state visit to the UAE.

Netra Bahadur Chand, acting Nepali Ambassador to the UAE has said that the embassy is making a survey and holding talks at the diplomatic level to promote Nepali products in the UAE market.
