There is a myth, propagated mostly by certain magazines, that being stylish requires tremendous effort. This prospect seems to become even more terrifying if you are a guy.

Many are of the belief that they must keep an eye on the fashion runways in Italy, the ready-to-wear shows, and Fashion Week in New York in order to truly understand how we must look.

However, the truth is there are dozens of quicker and easier ways to look better and it is possible with minimum effort. So The Week recruits Kathmandu’s hottest male style bloggers, Gokul Shrestha and Ases Prasai, for more insight into the matter. Here they answer a few of our questions and spill some of their best style savvy secrets.

Do you have any tips for men who want to add colors to their wardrobe??
I suggest you tone the rest of the outfit’s colors down. For someone like me, who likes to keep his outfit neat and basic as minimum, I’d suggest toning the rest of the outfit colors to almost nil.

If you want to use a colorful top of bright colors, use the rest of outfits in neutral shades of black/grey or beige/brown. However, if you are too tempted for color blocking, you might give it a try. It might as well work for you.
And for those who would like to add color outfits, try matching outfits in blue and green or navy and burgundy. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
