HETAUDA, May 26: The Bagmati Province Government is all set to draft a new Act for systematic operation of the Youth Scientist Encouragement Fund.
Chief Minister of Bagmati Province Shalikram Jamkattel said on Thursday that the Act would be made soon to operate the Fund, which is being run from the procedures at present.
At a program organized by the Fund to unveil the achievements of the five projects, the Chief Minister said that the Fund would be oriented to inspire the scientists for the use of new technology.
He added that the government was committed to promoting new technology and research works.
Of the five projects run by the Fund, two projects have been completed while three others are in the completion phase.
Social Development Minister and Chairperson of Fund Kumari Moktan said that conversion of safari vehicles into electronic and dental plane related projects are completed. Engineer Basanta Ale led the e-vehicle making project.
