Huge national flag hoisted at Maitighar

KATHMANDU, Jan 30: A huge national flag was hoisted at Maitighar Mandal in the capital city on the occasion of the Martyrs Day on Sunday. 

During a function organized by Nepali Patriotic Youths Society, CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and Rastrakavi Madhav Prasad Ghimire unfurled the flag for hoisting. The huge flag is 10 meters long and 7.5 meters wide. 

On the occasion, Oli said patriotism was growing strong after attempts were made to undermine Nepali sovereignty.  Also the former prime minister, Chairman Oli said he would not let anyone to belittle and divide the country.

On a different note, he said, “It seems efforts are underway to avoid elections. But the UML has the strength to exert pressure on the government to hold the elections on time.” 
Rastrakavi Ghimire expressed happiness over the growing concerns among youths about nationalism. RSS
