KATHMANDU, March 27: The Nepali Congress (NC) has called a meeting of the Central Working Committee (CWC) on Tuesday to decide on the ministers who will join the government led by CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel has informed Republica that a meeting will be held at 9 o'clock in the party central office Sanepa.
A total of 13 office bearers, former office bearers and some central members will participate in the working committee meeting along with chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba.
NC, which has decided to participate in the government, has not yet decided to appoint Kakas as a minister. It is understood that the performance committee that will meet tomorrow will decide the name of the minister based on the principle of inclusiveness so that all the seven provinces are represented.
Similarly, it is understood that the issue of selecting candidates for the by-elections to be held on April 23 in Tanahun-1, Bara-2 and Chitwan-2 will also be discussed in the CWC meeting. NC has been taking necessary decisions through the office bearers' meeting as it is not possible to call the CWC meeting immediately.
