KATHMANDU, March 27: National Assembly member Khimlal Devkota has said that the government should take full ownership of Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium under construction in Chitwan.
Speaking at the meeting of the National Assembly on Sunday, he made such a request to the government.
He said that the message that an international level cricket stadium is needed in Nepal has been shown by the recent ICC World Cup League. Ending the disruptions seen in the construction of an international-level cricket stadium under construction by Dhurmus Suntali Foundation in Bharatpur, the government should take full ownership of the stadium which can be a game changer project. He requested the Nepal government to take a prompt decision.
