KATHMANDU, March 22: The police have arrested a woman with a rare wild animal pangolin’s skin. According to the police, the arrested person is Santoshi Shrestha, 34, of Ramechhap.
The police team deployed from Gongabu police station in Kathmandu, arrested the woman from Tokha Municipality-11, Manamaiju bridge, along with the pangolin hide weighing approximately two and a half kilos. She was arrested based on special information from her SS Fancy Collection.
It is mentioned in the notice published today by the Nepal Police headquarters that the police are conducting further investigation into the matter.
