Police free abductee

LAMJUNG, Jan 30: Police freed Sujan Timilsina, a member of the Free Students´ Union (FSU) at Rampur Campus in Chitwan, who was abducted by Young Communist League (YCL) cadres from Siundiwar of Lamjung district on Friday night.



YCL cadres Rabindra Adhikari and Dil Bahadur Nepali had abducted Timilsina at around 4 p.m. Police said Timilsina was abducted while he was taking Amrit Bishwakarma, Puranjung Sapkota and Pramod Acharya to Rampur Campus for their admission to the campus.



The YCL cadres also beat up the three boys accompanying Timilsina. Organizing a press conference in Beshisahar on Saturday, UML-affiliated All Nepal National Free Students´ Union (ANNFSU) flayed Timilsina´s abduction and demanded stern action against the guilty. The union said teh YCL cadres also robbed Timilsina´s mobile phone.
