Meeting of both the houses of Federal Parliament being held today

KATHMANDU, Jan 24: The meeting of both the upper and the lower house of the Federal Parliament is being held at  1 pm today.

In today's meeting of the House of Representatives, Speaker Devraj Ghimire is scheduled to announce the names of the members to preside over the meeting in his absence. The program agenda is to congratulate the newly-elected speaker and deputy speaker of the houses.

Similarly, in the meeting of the National Assembly, there is an agenda to hold discussion on the report of the Federalism Implementation Study and Monitoring Parliamentary Special Committee, 2079. Minister of Education, Science and Technology Shishir Khanal will submit the proposal to the assembly to consider the Nepal University Bill, 2079.
