TAPLEJUNG, Jan 17: Finally, the water from the Dadhele source of Fawakhola in Fungling Municipality-11, was supplied to a tank at the Pathibhara Temple in Taplejung using the 'lifting' technique on Tuesday morning. The temple is situated at an altitude of 3,794 meters from sea level. 

Manmani Kafle, executive director of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, said that the water has reached the last tank of the lifting technology in the Pathibhara temple area. Along with this, Khadga Bahadur Thapa, the local representative of Prera Bishnu JV, a construction company located in the Pathibhara temple area, informed that the preliminary test of water supply to the Pathibhara temple area has been conducted for a long time. A main (intake) tank has been constructed at Kafle Pati to store the water of Darhele spring.

This project, which went ahead with the operation agreement on October 04, 2020  has finally been completed. It is projected that 30,000 liters of water per hour will be poured into the temple tank through the lifting technology. According to Kafle, the Pathibhara Taplejung Water Supply and Sanitation Plan has progressed with 70 percent of the cost of Ilam under the Federal Water Supply and Sewerage Management Project under the Government of Nepal and 30 percent of the cost through the Pathibhara Area Development Committee.
