KATHMANDU, Jan 22: A garden called the National Flag Garden is to be constructed on the bank of the Bagmati river at local Jorpati.

A campaign to construct the garden at Sugam Nagar of Gokarneshwar Municipality-13 was started on January 11 coinciding with the 295th birth anniversary of the late king Prithvi Narayan Shah, the unifier of modern Nepal.

A 20-feet tall National Flag would be installed at the garden. The local Timeline School has taken the responsibility of constructing the garden. It will plant saplings and trees in the garden, according to the School management. RSS
