KATHMANDU, Dec 27: Outgoing Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will leave the Prime Minister’s Residence in Baluwatar on Thursday.
At present, he is searching for a house on rent in the Dhumbarahi area, according to Bhanu Deuba, the outgoing PM’s personal secretary. They are looking for a house, which is big enough to meet Deuba’s needs including a spacious parking lot and is also appropriate from the security point of view.
“Deuba’s private residence in Kathmandu’s Budhanilkantha is undergoing renovation at present,” Bhanu Deuba further told Republica.
On Monday, the new Prime Minister, Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal was administered the oath of office and secrecy by President Bidya Devi Bhandari. But, Dahal is staying at his private residence in Khumaltar, Lalitpur as Deuba is yet to vacate the PM’s official residence in Baluwatar.
