KATHMANDU, Dec 7: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) has sought clarification from eight construction companies and suppliers for the second time due to the delay in completion of their assigned work.
The defaulter companies were asked to furnish written clarification within seven days reasoning why they should not be blacklisted.
Those eight companies are Guna Construction Service of Makawanpur, Siruwa-Kabir-Sunkoshi JV of Kathmandu, Muskan Suppliers of Parsa, Anusthan Construction of Baneshwor, Siruwa Construction Pvt Ltd of Tinkune, Delhi Trading of Birgunj and Jay Gadhi Mai Construction, according to the PPMO.
Earlier, similar clarification was sought from all of the eight erring companies within 30 days. Clarification was sought for the second time since they did not furnish written clarification.
The eight companies will be blacklisted if they fail to furnish clarification within seven days, the PPMO said.
