KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Pukar Bam, a candidate for the House of Representatives election from Kathmandu Constituency-1 on the behalf of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has released his election expenses.
Bam submitted the details of his election expenses to the Election Commission on Wednesday. According to him, Rs 951,806.55 was spent from June 3, the day of announcement of candidacy to the day of publication of election results.
It is said that Rs. 635,505 was received via various means through their supporters and well-wishers while the remaining Rs 316,301.55 was made available through the personal and family support of the candidate.
According to the party, they paid special attention to the administrative side to conduct the election campaigns in a less expensive, voluntary and dignified manner. They had paid attention to a complete ban on non-productive activities, proper use and publication of promotional materials, complete ban on flamboyant tea party programs, voluntary door-to-door programs, and low priority on digital boosting.
