Chief Minister’s Office of Lumbini Province shifted to Bhalubang

DANG, Dec 6: The Office of the Chief Minister of Lumbini Province has been shifted to Bhalubang, the capital of the province. Earlier, the office was located in Butwal, the temporary capital of Lumbini.

With this, all the affairs of the provincial government will be carried out from Bhalubang starting from this Sunday. 

The Rapti Technical School will be used as the chief minister’s quarter as well as the office of the province’s chief secretary. The technical school has already been shifted on the premises of Saraswati Secondary School.

According to the chief minister’s press coordinator Man Singh BK,  preparations are underway to shift the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Law and Communications, Finance Ministry and  the Province Financial Comptroller Office to the capital soon.

The oath-taking ceremony of the newly-elected members of Lumbini Province will be administered at the new office in Bhalubang.

Bhalubang was declared the permanent capital of Lumbini Province on October 6, 2020.
