BAJURA, Dec 4: Deputy General Secretary of Nepali Congress (NC) Badri Pandey has won the House of Representatives election from Bajura.
Pandey defeated CPN-UML candidate Karna Bahadur Thapa by a margin of 5,437 votes, according to the District Election Office, Bajura, Pandey got 31,786 votes, while Thapa got 26,349 votes.
Although the Election Commission gave instructions for the counting of votes, it was delayed by a few days due to booth capture and the death of two youths in a dispute at a booth.
