BIRENDRANAGAR, Nov 25: Ransingh Pariyar of the CPN (Maoist Center) has won a Provincial Assembly member from Humla A.
Pariyar, the common candidate of the Left-Democratic Alliance, won against Mangal Bahadur Shahi, a rebel candidate of the Nepali Congress (NC) with a margin of 1,851 votes.
Pariyar secured 6,481 votes. His closest rival Shahi got 4,630 votes.
Phadera of CPN-UML got 2,099 votes. Hasta Bahadur Shahi of United Socialist got 788 votes out of 14,447 votes cast. The RPP got 117 votes while a total of 333 votes were declared invalid.
