KATHMANDU, Sept 21: The ruling coalition is holding an urgent meeting today to discuss their future course of action as President Bidhya Devi Bhandari rejected certifying the Citizenship Amendment Bill for the second time.
The top leaders of the ruling parties are scheduled to hold a meeting at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.
In today's meeting, the matter related to President Bhandari not certifying the Citizenship Bill will be discussed in detail. President Bidya Devi Bhandari has refused to certify the Citizenship Bill sent by the Federal Parliament for the second time.
The meeting is also expected to continue their discussion on the seat allocation for the upcoming federal parliament and provincial assembly elections.
