KAPILVASTU, Aug 26: At least 13 people were injured when a bus overturned in Bankasbas, Shivraj Municipality -1, Kapilvastu on Monday.

According to the preliminary information provided by the police, 13 people were injured when the bus (Lu 2 B 1598) en route to Butwal from Surkhet overturned on the road. Police said that the condition of three of the injured is serious.
While trying to save a motorcycle, the bus fell a meter down. Ten people are receiving treatment at Chandrauta Hospital and three others are receiving treatment at Sanjeevani Hospital. Security personnel reached the accident site soon after learning about the accident, rescued the injured and rushed them to hospitals.
