KATHMANDU, August 2: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that all sister organizations of the party should be made effective and smooth.
At an interaction program organized by Kathmandu Metropolitan City-8 unit of the party on Monday, General Secretary Thapa said that the smooth functioning of sister organizations is imperative also for the upcoming parliamentary election. The interaction was organized by the active members of the party.
“The NC will build a party stand on the pressing issues in the parliament,” he said, underscoring the need to involve youths in the party.
On the occasion, Bagmati Province Assembly Member Narottam Vaidya said that the leaders and cadres with different views within the party should be respected and taken together.
Ward Chairperson Ashaman Sangat said that garbage management in the Kathmandu Valley was being politicized. Government itself should play a vital role to manage waste, he suggested.
