KATHMANDU, July 25: The meeting of the Parliamentary Probe Committee is being held today. The meeting is going to be held in the hall of the committee at Singha Durbar.

The committee has so far investigated the CCTV footage of the Finance Ministry and questioned outgoing finance minister Janardan Sharma.

After no conclusion came from the CCTV footage of the Ministry of Finance, the committee is going to investigate the footage of the Singha Durbar gate.

Sharma has been accused of allowing outsiders to enter the budget preparation. Sharma is accused of manipulating tax rates by calling outsiders to the ministry in the middle of the night while preparing the budget. Sharma resigned as Finance Minister after the allegations.
