KATHMANDU, June 23: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the government will provide assistance to Nepal Academy considering its financial difficulties.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of National Poem Festival, 2022 and the 65th anniversary of Nepal Academy on Thursday, Prime Minister Deuba said the government would help solve the financial difficulties of Nepal Academy.
He assured to help Nepal Academy after having necessary discussion on this. He also said that the government would provide necessary assistance for the implementation of new thinking and programs to advance the academy in the field of language, literature and culture promotion of the country. He lauded the role played by Nepal Academy in the preservation and promotion of the Nepali language, literature and culture.
