KATHMANDU, April 28: Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate in tourism promotion on Thursday.
According to NTB, the two organizations have agreed to cooperate in the promotion and development of the tourism industry. “Nepal's tourism could be developed through the cooperation of the private sector. FNCCI’s proposal to organize other programs related to tourism can also be taken along with NTB's own programs,” a statement issued by NTB quoted CEO Dhananjay Regmi as saying.
FNCCI President Shekhar Golchha said that Nepal should take initiatives to attract quality tourists. “Good results come from working together,” he said.
The agreement was signed by the NTB CEO Regmi and FNCCI President Golchha.
