KATHMANDU, Feb 18: A meeting of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu on Saturday.
The meeting will discuss the state of organizational activities across the country, review recent political developments in the country and discuss ways to make the party successful in the upcoming election, said Chief Whip and Secretary of the party Jeevan Ram Shrestha.
The 45-member Standing Committee will also discuss the issue of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and the impeachment of the Chief Justice and formulate an action plan on the role to be played by the party.
