KATHMANDU, Jan 3: The price of gold in the Nepali market dropped by Rs 300 per tola on Monday. The price of the yellow metal in the domestic market has been fixed at Rs 93,100 per tola.
Gold was traded at Rs 93,400 per tola on Sunday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, Monday's price of standard gold is Rs 92,600 per tola, which was Rs 92,900 per tola on Sunday.
According to the Federation, silver price has decreased by Rs 5 per tola to Rs 1,265 per tola. The federation has been fixing the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the transaction price in the international market.
Similarly, gold is trading at around $ 1,824 per ounce in international markets today.
