121 patients of COVID-19 recover in the last 24 hours

3,134 patients recovered so far

KATHMANDU, June 29: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) reported recovery of 121 COVID-19 patients in the last 24 hours.

Spokesperson at the MoHP Dr Jageshwar Gautam told a media briefing that 13 females and 108 males who were earlier diagnosed with COVID-19 were discharged after recovery from various hospitals.

So far, The MoHP has reported recovery of 3,134 patients, in which 266 are females and 2,866 are males.

As many as 23 patients of COVID-19 from Narayani Hospital, Birgunj, 33 from Syangja Hospital Syangja, 14 from Mahendra Ghyanahi Hospital, Siraha, 13 from Alpamai Nursing Institution, Sarlahi, one from BP Koirala Institute of Health and Science and eight from Nuwakot Hospital, Nuwakot were discharged after recovery in past 24 hours.

Also, three patients of COVID-19 each from Isolation Center Khajura, Adarsha Nagar Isolation Center, Magyadi Hospital and COVID Hospital Sapahi, Janakpur and two each from Pokhara Institute of Health and Science and Sushil Koirala Cancer Hospital and five from Tanahu Hospital, Tanahu, have also recovered and returned home.

The MoHP also recorded 476 new cases in the past 24 hours, taking national COVID-19 tally to 13,248 including 29 deaths.
