KATHMANDU, Oct 25: A sinkhole has been formed on the main road in front of the parliament building along the Tinkune-Baneshwor road section in the capital city.
The six-lane main road from Baneshwor to Tinkune was expanded a few years ago to make the road of international standard. The sinkhole in the middle of the main road has raised questions over the quality of the construction works.
After the sinkhole was formed on the road, vehicular movement is now allowed through the service lane. Vehicular movement is normal along the road section, according to police.
