The incident occurred as a passenger bus (Na 3 Kha 7621) en route from Dharan to Itahari hit the vehicle (Ba 1 Jha 7077) in which Gurung was traveling, said area police office at Itahari.
Gurung and other injured are undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan. The eastern regional headquarters of the army said health condition of the injured is out of danger.
